Fiona Knapp
Expertise
Fiona completed Atkey’s Trainer Accreditation Programme in de Bono Six Thinking Hats® and CoRT1 Tools in June 2007. She has been involved with primary education for more than thirty years and was a Headteacher for thirteen years. She has had extensive experience in large and small schools, in rural and urban areas and has taught overseas in Africa and the West Indies. She is now a freelance educational consultant and works with schools across the UK leading a range of training in developing children’s learning and thinking. She has been involved in training whole clusters or pyramids of schools, whole school staff at both Primary and Secondary level and Advisory staff, and she has led and spoken at Headteacher Conferences. Fiona is a Consultant/Evaluator for schools on the Thinking Schools Programme in partnership with the University of Exeter and Kestrel Consulting; she is also a Practitioner Trainer for the International Primary Curriculum and delivers teacher training for Espresso Education.
